James D. Hoyt is the Founder and CEO of Ascendant Financial Solutions Inc. He is also the creator of Investment By Design(TM) and The Financial Autonomy Solution(TM). Mr. Hoyt's practice focuses on the individual wealth management and planning needs of successful individuals and families through out the southwest. Planning at the time of a loved ones death is especially important, decisions made at such a difficult time are absolutely critical to the estate and its beneficiaries. In 2008 and 2009 the firm was named by Goldline research and published in Forbes Magazine as one of the Southwest Most Dependable Wealth Managers.

Mr. Hoyt lives in Flagstaff, AZ with his wife and two teenagers (twins) and when not working enjoys: golf, hiking, reading, and travel.
